Item Description
1.5" w/Brunt back paper. California was declared a state Sept. 9, 1850 and this button celebrates that day some seven decades later. In reflected light there are many tiny small air spots under the celluloid but from most angles they show little if at all. Reverse has hairline tiny 1/8" split by collet. Intense color and high gloss. Exc. One known. Rare.
