Item Description
1.5" w/no maker's name. Inscribed "Souvenir/P.P.I.E. 1915/San Francisco". This button design includes several iconic California symbols, but if the standing woman is meant to represent the State Seal's depiction of Minerva, the Roman goddess of wisdom, the button designer took liberties as his lady is topless. Reverse has barely seen 1/16" hairline split along the collet. Glossy and Exc. One known to us. Rare.
