This 1948 Cheerios premium is the largest premium ever offered and one of the most difficult to complete. Offered here is the complete set. First are nine 6.5x8" Cheerios box back panels. Each panel is numbered 1 to 9. Each cut-out model is numbered. These nine panels have the first 28 models in the series. The ninth panel has a color side panel showing the completed town w/notation "Complete Lone Ranger Town Is Over 3-1/2 Feet By 4 Feet Big." Edges show uneveness, mostly to top and bottom. Lt. handling creases but overall VG to Fine. The remaining set pieces come in four 7x14" original mailing envelopes. Each envelope has one of the four layout sheets showing the turrain in color on one side w/extensive assembly directions and promotion text on reverse. Paper is lightly tanned. Each section came folded and opens to 20x26" w/markings for placement of 71 pieces. All four sections are extremely clean w/only the lightest bit of scattered wear. Each envelope also contains the folded as issued (uncut) panels with the remaining numbered parts. All pieces numbered 29 through 71 are intact. These are extremely clean and uncut. Rarely found complete and in this condition. In 40 years we have only offered two other 100% complete sets, the last being a decade ago. In this complete and choice condition the value as per Hake's Guide to Character Toys is about $3000.
