14x22" offset litho on thin uncoated stock by Lincoln Lithograph Company. Issued from the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, 8 1/2 Raymond St. Atlanta, GA featuring an image of a Mississippi Highway Patrol Officer w/text "Is He Protecting You?" The image by SNCC staff photographer Danny Lyon was part of a series of five posters featuring his photos that have become iconic images of the era and group. Tint corner crease at extreme top left corner. Otherwise only trivial handling and a hint of minor foxing on verso. Exc. An impressive and powerful civil rights poster that will frame beautifully.
