Item Description
5.5x7.25x1.25" deep box contains 92 cards (45 illustrated and 47 text) and instruction insert. ©1978 Marvel Comics Group. Karuta game produced exclusively for the Japanese market. Box lid has great illustration of Japanese style Spider-Man w/Leopardon and Spider-Machine GP-7. Box has moderate aging/wear w/aged Japanese tape at lid corners, one of which is split. VG. We deduce game play was to match descriptive text to what Spider-Man/supporting characters were doing on opposite card though text is in Japanese. Illustrated cards have images of Spider-Man and Leopardon fighting Japanese monsters and villains and Spider-Man using web parachute and bouncing a bullet off his chest. Cards have some aging, but are mostly VF/Exc. Scarce.
