Batman: The Animated Series, aka The Adventures Of Batman & Robin was a critically lauded animated series that aired on Fox Kids from Sept. 5, 1992 to Sept. 15, 1995, w/a total of 85 episodes. DC Comics, Inc. produced, in very limited quantity, style guides for this show and were developed by DC for licensees, w/these guides providing all the artwork, typography, patterns, color palettes, editorials, logos, etc. needed by the licensee to develop whatever type of product they wish to produce following the necessary guidelines of DC Comics. This 1995 style guide in embossed 9x12" textured plastic folder (w/velcro closure) was for the "The Adventures Of Batman & Robin Crime Squad" line (which included action figures) and includes 51 numbered pages pule Table Of Contents sheet which breaks down contents into the following categories - "Graphic Treatments, Badges, Iconography, Heroes And Villains, Logos" as well as "Hangtags And Neck Labels." Characters featured include Batman, Robin, Joker, Riddler and Two-Face. These guides were often cut up and sections removed to be used by the design and marketing departments of the companies that received them. This example is complete, uncut and NM. A truly exceptional item and a must for any Batman collector. Incredible reference/insight into the marketing of this classic '90s cartoon.
