Item Description
9x14x1.75" deep box w/illustrated lid contains complete parts for Lisbeth Whiting Co., Inc. battery-operated set, ©1966 NPP, Inc. Box separate plastic insert w/attached wires w/selector tips and hole for viewing lightbulb (not included). Foil-covered tray insert holds five 8.5x10.25" double-sided sheets, each divided in half; one side w/questions, the other side w/corresponding answers. When the correct answer hole was selected, it would cause lightbulb to light up. Of the five sheets, two are Superman specific (a Batman version was also produced), showing Superman as well as Clark Kent, Superboy, Supergirl, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Ma and Pa Kent, Krypto, Lex Luthor and Batman as well as showcasing Superman's powers. One Superman sheet has lt. penciling on front w/inked numbers of non-Superman back. Sheets are Fine to VF overall. Could not get machine to function as designed when tested. Box shows wear and has inked price on lid. Fine. Scarce.
