Item Description
23x35" poster. With graphics reminiscent of Mayan and Aztec art, it is the words of Gregory Rios that hit home. In interview, Rios remembers the exact weight of cotton that he had to pick to pay the poll tax to vote for Kennedy. After his integrated service in Vietnam, his first experience growing up in a heavily segregated Texas town, he became politically active in the Chicano and La Raza Unida movements. Rolled w/wrinkles, would display nicely framed. VF.
