12.5x18.5" folder w/opening door-like fold-out design contains two booklets concerning 1934 serial. First book is for publicity and features "Synopsis," advertisement for colored enlargements, banner, window card, marquee hanger and has several features and reviews. It is set up similar to a newspaper. Cover has large image of Lugosi w/hands raised over a crystal ball w/list of contents. Second book is for advertising and has similar cover design. Inside features several images of newspaper ads, lobby displays, posters, lobby cards and other forms of advertisement. Also featured are novelties such as a "Return Of Chandu" mask (not included) that could be ordered and ads for premiums including invisible ink cards, balloons, magnifying glass and door/automobile hangers. Contents have loosened from staples but are complete. 3.25" archival tape repair to spine. Booklets are VF. Folder has some corner tip wear, lt. strip of aging at top margin of back cover. Fine. A beautifully designed publicity package w/many images of Lugosi for this classic serial.
