Item Description
1.75" with metal back and vertical pin. Maker name on curl Phila. Badge Co. This was a Balao-class submarine. After launching she sailed in August, 1943 for Brisbane, Australia. She went on patrol September 20th but never returned. Japanese records indicated she was sunk west of Mindanao, September 28, 1943. NM. Rare.
