Item Description
1-3/8" litho tin button which was the #1 selling button at the peak Crockett craze of 1955. Usually there is no hanger but this one sports a lead pistol. It also comes on a "Davy Crockett" 5"tall thin cardboard sheet with text at bottom, (probably a jobber and not the button's maker) "Made In U.S.A. Gordon Novelties Co. N.Y." Card has mild age tone but three sets of staple holes on the right edge attests to its being preserved and belonging with this button which is Mint.
