Item Description
Lot consists of 48 state flags (missing Alabama), 12 national flags, all tin lithos, each 1.5x1.5". Issued in late 1958-early 1959 as Alaska is included but Hawaii is not. State flags are attached around margin of map of U.S. w/state capitols identified. Folded as issued, map opens to 16.5x20.5". Pin holes in corners, tape residue at bottom margins, 1x1" area at map bottom. Map is VG, state flags are VF. Lot also comes w/three 3x4" cardboard folders featuring illustration of Alaska flag w/lists of three sets of flags and order form. Folders have handling wear. Fine. Also included are 12 national flags from all over the world. Exc. Also included is original 8.5x11" mailer that has lt. handling wear but VG.
