Item Description
8.5x11 to 8.5x14" flyers and posters. Gathered in Manhattan in the early 1970s, a strong archive of ten individual pieces of United Farm Worker (UFW) related event announcements and volunteer mailers. Anchored by a half tone photographic broadside which likens labor conditions including pesticide use and civil rights infringements of the California laboring families to the destruction of the Vietnam War. Other highlights include Boycott Boogie at St. Ignatius Church, Path of Justice walk registration form, Union Label Grapes (Eagle) cardstock flag and Chavez speeches (one w/Pete Seeger performing).
