Item Description
10.5" long by 8" tall counting mounting brackets. This is the larger of two sizes made by L. W. Lee Mfg. Co. c. 1946. This solid cast metal ornament was produced in a smaller size of 5.5" long by 6" tall in gold or silver luster. Large size was made in silver luster only. Great action pose of him taking off for flight w/cape flowing behind. Has overall lt. age toning and typical tiny pitting but retains near full luster which remains bright and shiny. 1" metal fatigue hairline on back bottom edge of base by one of the two mounting bolts, barely shows on outside, mostly visible only on underside of base. Fine. Rare.
