Item Description
6x7.5x2.75" deep box contains 10" tall double-sided puppet w/fabric body showing Superman costume on one side and Clark Kent monogramed shirt on the other. By Peter Puppet Playthings, 1954. Pliable vinyl head. Comes w/original removable cape, plastic glasses and pressed felt hat. Fabric body and cape have some lt. aging but remain clean. Fine. Head has lt. dust soiling but is very pliable and VF. Box has moderate wear, obvious creasing to side panels, two 2.5" tears to top panel hinge, both interior flaps are loose but included. Superman shield diecut window has cellophane loosened at top half. This is the second example of this puppet we've offered and the first boxed example. Rare.
