Item Description
10.25x13x1.75" deep box for Funtime Playwear Superman Play Suit. © National Comics Publications Inc. c. mid-1950s. Play suit is not included. Box has corner tip wear, dust soiling but corners remain tight. VF. Included is 2.5x3.75" "Official Superman Fan Club" membership card. Card is blank. Lt. handling wear but Exc. 8.5x11" "Supermen Of America" certificate is unique to this set. It remains blank and has small chip to left margin at center and a 1.25" archival tape repair to reverse to reattach upper right corner. Upper right corner also has scattered spotting. VG. 7x9.25" four-page "Superman's Buddy" comic book is included. Has 1954 NCP copyright, was later issued in 1958 in two colors only. Comic has wear but is Fine.
