Item Description
26.25x39.75" one sheet poster. c. 1914-1915. Strong, famous image of Buffalo Bill Cody allegedly used without his knowledge at the inception of the Sells Floto Circus around 1915. After Cody's death in 1917, this poster was used as a kind of memorial souvenir through the mid 1920s. Print line reads "Erie Litho & Ptg. Co, Erie PA, U.S.A. No. 9561 -D." VG due to a trivial tape repair that does not affect subject and heavy roll lines, but presents Exc. Fred Hoffman Collection.
