Item Description
27x41" one sheet poster. Only the third recorded offering of this graphic knockout, this poster was created to promote Lee Powell's tour w/Wallace Bros. Circus after the Hi-Yo Silver serial success in 1940. Erie Litho Company No. 41 - 2489. This copy was trimmed, presumably at the time of issue, to accept a "Hamid - Morton Circus" banner applied at top edge. Partial Wallace Bros. can still be seen under overlay. Minor retouching to that banner and vertical borders have been reinforced. Technically Fine, displays Exc. Fred Hoffman Collection.
