Item Description
10.5" long toy #738 introduced in 1941 and made for just one year. Wood w/paper labels and complete w/fragile rubber arms attached to the steering wheel plus original pull string w/wood knob. Toy produces a motor sound when pulled and is also designed to have the steering wheel moved slightly by the rubber arms although this no longer works. Shows overall lt. trace of aging, minor surface paper nicks and rubs, mostly along extreme edges. The original rubber arms show very lt. trace of aging but remain complete, intact and still pliable. Overall appearance remains bright and glossy. VF. Very rare, especially w/rubber arms and this is the first we've offered. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
