Item Description
Unmarked but by Salem China Co., 1934. Also see Mickey warming bowl #1685. 7.5" dia. ceramic bowl affixed to chromed metal base 2" deep w/pair of hinged handles and spout w/screw top. Text around center scene reads "I Build My House Of Stones, I Build My House Of Bricks, I Have No Time To Sing Or Dance, For Work And Play Don't Mix." Around the center scene of the Three Pigs is image of Worker Pig repeated four times. At bottom center of center scene is a 1" dia. tan age spot. Center image has tiniest trace of wear, minor color rubs. Bowl has typical lt. crazing visible only upon close inspection. Metal base shows only st. wear and has near full luster. Exc. The only example Ted Hake recalls seeing in 40 years of collecting baby bowls.
