Item Description
8x8.5x1.5" deep wood frame surrounding painted cardboard bkg. upon which are mounted two individual layers of glass that bear the images and produce a 3-D scene. Depicts Thumper skating as two chipmunks watch him. Reverse of frame covered by paper label explaining how Disney uses the multi-plane technique in his studio. These were produced by Courvoisier Galleries for sale as representations of the Disney art form. This is #4 in the series. 1940s. Label has scattered age toning. Frame shows very little wear and is VF while the actual multi-plane is Exc.
