Item Description
Both are painted composition c. 1938. Matador figure is 6" tall. Great image of this character for which relatively little merchandise was produced. Some extremely minor stress lines in the composition are visible upon close inspection but appearance remains totally bright, clean and glossy. VF. Ferdinand is a bank, complete w/trap on underside but missing generic key. Ferdinand's name appears on his stomach and still attached to one hand is the original fragile fabric flower. Dark brown body has overall pinpoint scattered dots of color loss but more so on back than front. Still has a nice appearance for display. Fine. From the Deak Stagemyer Collection.
