Lot of two from 1938. First is the 8.5x11" softcover promotional book w/cover reading "Advertising And Merchandising Campaign For Bakers Prepared By Kay Kamen, Ltd." Has 42 pages in bw. This highly detailed book is filled w/many photos and illustrations thoroughly detailing this special promotion. Among the items shown are specialty packaging for baked goods, metal lunch kit, signs, window streamers, buttons, masks, costumes, animated displays, clothing, etc. as well as much information on the Jingle Club and its related premiums. Many rare items which we have never offered are shown including a sweater and cap to be worn by salesmen and clerks. One page features baker's truck w/large advertising poster enblazened on the side. Jingle Club items include an application card, membership button and booklet (booklet is included in this lot). Center two pages have come loose at staples. Entire copy has very lightly aged margins, cover has lt. margin wear but overall still a very clean copy. Extremely detailed and informative, first we've ever offered. Fine to VF. Second item is the 4x5.5" Jingle Book. Has 16 bw pages w/illustrations and jingles that were to be completed by recipient. The recipient's answer was to be compared to jingles found on Snow White bread bands. Book has imprint of "Jaeger Bros. Baking Co." of Wis. Unused and Exc.
