Item Description
6.5x8.75x2" thick book by Dean & Son Ltd. "Published By Exclusive Arrangement With Ub Iwerks, The Originator Of The Film Character, Flip The Frog." c. 1931. Has 124 thick paper pages w/art in bw. For the most part, pages have three different story panel illustrations plus text. There are also four full color glossy paper plates. Cover art is repeated front and back w/different illustration of Flip on the spine. About 20 pages have some neat coloring. Also has some coloring/penciling on inside front and back covers and on black reverse of the color plates. Has scattered surface paper loss to spine covering, mostly along edges and bottom margin, about 60% remains including most of title and Flip image. Cover has additional scattered wear and aging, surface paper wear along edges. Cover remains glossy w/strong color. Cover is VG, contents are Fine.
