Lot of 10, each 2.5x3-1/8". ©1938 Gum Inc. All are variety with machine-printed, over-print text on card backs promoting the Horrors of War card series. These rare "over-print" cards were issued in other packs of Gum, Inc. cards and also sent to schools for distribution to students. Card numbers are 97, 99, 102, 103, 106, 108, 111, 112, 118, 120. All cards are a bit off center. Card #102 has a very tiny corner bend and surface paper nick along right edge. Card #103 has tiny trace of missing surface paper to just the white top border and only noticeable upon close inspection. All cards have light aging to margins/reverses but remain very clean and with fairly sharp corners. Overall lot is VF/Exc. A similar lot of 10 cards were offered in our auction #189 and sold for over $2,000.00.
