See item 2252. These are larger head series ©1958. The same five characters are also in this lot in addition to Mrs. Wilson & Joey. The fabric bodies for these puppets are more detailed including actual outfits rather than a printed pattern plus flesh-tone hands. Dennis appears in his traditional outfit including bib overalls. Mr. Wilson is head only, body is missing. Mrs. Wilson is designed with a pair of die-cut holes on head apparently for placement of a separate pair of glasses although these are missing. The heads of Henry & Margaret are molded without glasses unlike the smaller head varieties. Neck area of Dennis body is slightly enlarged so head comes loose but will stay in place for display. Bodies of Dennis, Henry & Joey have moderate aging. All heads show light wear with some paint rubs. Lot Fine/VF. From the Andy Levison Collection.
