Another classic toy from Lionel issued in 1936. Toy is 10.5" long w/composition figures of Donald and Pluto. Toy is complete, working (including Donald's quacking voice) and all original. Missing easily replaced generic track but comes w/key so operable on any smooth surface. Paint on compo figures has a few tiny paint nicks but overall paint is much superior than on the typical example. Paint on the metal areas is super clean and glossy, near 100% complete and NM. Box is 9x11.5x3.5" deep. All four side panels have illustrations of the toy. The front lower panel has 20% area w/grayish or tan glue smudges but the other three side panels and lid area are extremely clean. Bottom back edge of left side panel is missing a small .25x.75" spot of cardboard. Very minor. Overall box is extremely Fine and complete w/its original insert. Toy and box are both superior to most surviving examples.
