Item Description
First we've seen of this rare premium distributed by English publication to promote "Snow White." First is original 9x16.5" mailing envelope w/London, 1938 postmark. Added inked date of Nov. 15, 1938. Opened on the right edge with scattered tears, worst being a 1" vertical and 2" horizontal at top front center. Lightly tanned but still VG. Pair of 5x8" inserts come w/item. Both addressed "Dear Chum," picture and promote the club's enamel badge picturing Mickey. One sheet welcomes new member to club and explains "You Can Always Have A New Programme Of Films Cut From 'Mickey Mouse Weekly.'" Sheet has some moisture staining around bottom corners. Second sheet mentions that actors and speaking parts for the "Disneydrome" have appeared in weekly Oct./Nov. issues and reads "I Hope You Have Cut Them Out Ready For Your First Performance Of The Play 'Snow White And The Seven Dwarfs.'" Next is 5.75x11.25" beautiful color sheet which is part of theater and pictures interior of Queen's castle w/magic mirror. Opposite side shows interior of Dwarfs' cottage. Final piece is stiff 16x22.25" three-sectioned sheet of folded cardboard. One side has the theater and bkg. scene parts in full color while the opposite side has instructions. Text next to Mickey in tuxedo image on reverse of this sheet reads "Here You Have Your Theater And Scenery.
