Item Description
2x4x8.25" tall. Toy consists of paper labels on thin laminated wood body of Donald w/his arms attached to his body by a rubber strip so they are free to move up and down. Lower part of body is inserted in a circular wood piece and this in turn has an axle holding a pair of large black plastic wheels. Front of Donald's jacket has a tiny hole where a string can be attached and then he can be pulled along and a hidden counterweight on his wooden base allows his figure to sway back and forth independent of the black plastic wheels. Lower edge of the jacket reads "By Permission Walt Disney-Mickey Mouse Ltd." c. late 1940s or early 1950s. On one side of the toy the white and yellow colors show a lt. layer of gray surface dust but other side colors remain bright and clean. Overall VF. Fourth we've seen. Rare.
