1.25” showing earliest design of Donald from 1935 standing amidst raindrop accents with tiny ©”W. Disney” below along with text “Dry In Any Weather-Norwich Knitting Co. Norwich, NY”. No backpaper as issued. Orange color on Donald is in perfect registration, unlike about half of the 10 or so we’ve seen over 4 decades. A beautiful example. Exc., displays Mint. Scarce. This is the actual example as shown in Tomart's Disneyana Update #1 and comes w/a copy of that issue. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
