Item Description
Two different sets by Whitman ©1938. First box is 7x10x1” deep for set #3005. This set is Snow White only and has 9” die-cut cardboard doll of her plus wood stand. Comes with 9.5x20” glossy paper sheet with three different cut-out dresses. Two other dresses have been neatly cut from this sheet. Moderate box wear, Fine. Contents clean, overall Exc. Second box is 10x15x1.5” deep containing set #2185 that includes the same Snow White doll but also all Seven Dwarfs. Five wood stands are also included as well as a large assortment of outfits and accessories some of which have been neatly cut from the sheets, other sheets remain partially or totally uncut. Snow White has tiny insect hole at center of dress, all but one Dwarf has insect hole on top of head. Other light wear to contents but overall clean. Fine/VF. Box shows wear including a 1.5” split on one side panel. VG. Both sets are used but still quite displayable. This is the actual example as shown in Tomart's Disneyana Update #32 and comes w/a copy of that issue. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
