Item Description
Seven plastic figures 2.5” to 3.5” tall and 8.5x11” four page glossy folder all ©1966 National Periodical Publications Inc. The folder features great image of Batman wearing the classic and rare Ideal utility belt with text “Cash In On The Comic Hero Craze With Play Sets And Puppets.” Two inside panels have photos of the very rare Batman and Justice League play sets as well as smaller carded figure sets featuring DC heroes and villains. Back cover features Batman, Robin & Superman boxed puppets. Designed to have hole punches along spine for ring binder but this example remains unpunched. Light margin aging. Totally clean, glossy and VF. A great promotional piece. The figures are Batman, Robin, Superman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash & Joker. Joker is solid grey plastic, all others are fully painted, Batman, Robin & Superman are complete with removable capes. These three have scattered small flakes to chest decals, most noticeable on Superman which is missing the bottom third. Each has typical light scattered aging but overall remain nice clean examples. Figures themselves remain VF/Exc. This is the actual example as shown in Tomart's Action Figure Digest #148 and comes w/a copy of that issue. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
