Item Description
10.5x14” four page publication on newsprint dated Oct. 1943. Full title reads “Walt Disney’s Mickey Mouse…On The Home Front-Life At Beechcraft As Disney’s Characters See It.” Limited issue to employees of Beechcraft Aircraft Corp. Specialty art is all war related with front featuring “Factory Follies” and back featuring “Wise Quacks.” Two inside pages are comic panel story titled “Symphony In V.” Characters featured include Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Joe Carioca, Clarabelle, Horace, The Seven Dwarfs, others. Light horizontal fold at center as issued. Lightly aged with trace of margin wear including a few small tears. Still clean and Fine. Scarce due to limited distribution. This is the actual example as shown in Tomart's Disneyana Update #41 and comes w/a copy of that issue. From the Tomart Archives and comes w/COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
