Item Description
2x2.5x4" tall early 1930s and most likely French made marked on underside "Foreign/6034." The head is painted cast metal w/separate tin ears, seated body is china. These came w/different colored pants and this is variety in green. Back bottom edge has 1/8" hole as made for tail but only a stub remains. Back of head has rubber ball (now hardened) which was to be pressed to spray perfume from opening on Mickey's snout. The spray mechanism attached to a metal rod that fits inside a cork insert on his body to keep the head in place. One of the removable ears has the metal hook replaced but not noticeable when in position. Scattered tiny paint flakes on face but 95% paint remains. Head is Fine, body is Exc. Rare and exceptional figural item.
