Item Description
12.5x18" framed w/11x16.5" opening. From his successful New York State Senate campaign in 1910. It was his first elected position, which he held from 1911-1913, until his appointment as Assistant Secretary of the Navy. Poster opposes the election of Schlosser and Yale, the 1910 opponents of FDR and Crane for Assembly. Additional text reads " They Opposed Gov. Hughes' Reforms/Progressive Men Are Wanted To Clean Conditions In Legislature." Horizontal crease in center from prior folding, otherwise only light wear. Still Exc. Not examined outside of frame. A rare opportunity to acquire an early career campaign poster from the four-term President.
