Item Description
13.75x18" w/matte. Print is 10.25x14". Published by Currier & Ives in 1876. Hand colored lithograph w/slogan "Liberty And Union" at top and cornucopia between portraits. Print has been trimmed along outer margins but retains all text on margins. Vibrant color w/virtually even age toning. A few scattered brown specks on the margins in the bottom left corner that are trivial and only mentioned for extreme accuracy. Some faint spotting along the top margin that is not seen when matted and detracts little if matte is removed. Still Exc. Displays beautifully and ready for instant framing. This is the last in the famed series that covered elections from 1844-1876 and is among the rarest. A special opportunity for the advanced collector to obtain this set-stopping rarity. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
