Item Description
30x42.5". Mounted on original wood stretchers at top and bottom. On either side of the 6x7" portraits of the first 10 presidents appears state emblems of the first 26 states, each 1.75" in dia. Center text includes presidents' names with dates of each inauguration, retirement, death (where appropriate). Tiny text at bottom includes "Entered According To The Act Of Congress In The Year 1843, By T. & E. H. Ensign." Bkgs. of each portrait and border accents are tinted green/blue. Bottom right 6.5" margin is loose from the bottom dowell. Remarkably nice condition given the age. Interesting content. Fine. Rare.
