Item Description
Lot of three, each is 2.25" w/spring pin that holds 3" fabric ribbon "Phila. Warriors" (some more legible than others). All are by M. S. Shandelman Co. of Philly. Two have generic plain backpapers. Founded in 1946 in Philadelphia, the Warriors moved to the San Francisco Bay Area in 1962 and took the city's name before changing its geographic moniker to Golden State in 1971. The Warriors defeated the Fort Wayne Pistons to win the NBA World Championship in 1956. Team button features photos on basketball bkg. and includes HOF members: Arizin, Gola and Johnston. The individual buttons are of player Arizin and coach George Senesky. Buttons are glossy, Exc. Ribbons Fine to VF. All are scarce.
