5.25x8.25x4.25" tall tin container which has removable lid and pair of metal carrying handles which fold across the top. 1930s. Bottom rim edge has tiny text including "Walt Disney." Inside of lid has text including biscuit company name "Saiva" as well as "Genova." Lid depicts Mickey w/top hat and cane standing next to Minnie. Sides feature ice skating scene of Mickey, Minnie and nephew and this is repeated on each side although some of the character images differ slightly. Tin has small widely scattered traces of wear including some tiny paint nicks and scratches, additional traces of paint aging. Couple of minor indents only noticeable when viewed closely. Most notable spots of paint wear appear under the metal handles so not visible when in place. Overall appearance remains quite nice w/very strong color. Fine. Rare.
