Item Description
13.25x19.5x2" deep box contains parts for game by American Toy Works, 1940. Lid features great art depicting the seven different characters featured as targets for this game. These are Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Dopey, Max Hare, Toby Tortoise and Peter Pig. Both lid and box bottom have several neat glue repairs to corner and side panel splits of 2". Lid has 1.5" puncture mark on the "E" of "Game" although also neatly repaired and barely visible. Box retains glossy appearance w/strong, vibrant color. Displays Fine. Game is missing a generic dart gun and darts. The thick cardboard target board is 13x18.5" w/paper label on front that includes large snowman target at lower left and small images of Goofy skating, Pluto wearing scarf, penguins and Big Bad Wolf peering out from around a snow-covered bank. Attached diagonally at the center is a wood strip that the targets are placed on. Each target has a pair of thick cardboard diecut pieces w/paper labels attached to wood blocks that are slotted to fit on the target holder. The seven targets each depict a full figure character skiing w/separate point value target panel on front. Includes a pair of wood stands to keep the target board upright. Bottom edge of Donald figure has 1" crease w/surface paper break although only noticeable when viewed closely. Targets and board show very little wear. VF. An exceptional game w/choice color and graphics.
