Item Description
5.75x8" paper bag w/cellophane display window contains 4x7" rubber balloon
and cardboard "feet" base. 1930s by The Oak Rubber Co. Balloon is in the shape
of Mickey's body including his trademark ears and has printed facial and body
features plus his name on stomach. The cardboard "feet" base has printed image
of shoes. Balloon was to be inflated and attached to the feet and text on back
of packaging reads "Toss-Up To Balloon/Throw Him Into The Air-Always Lands On
His Feet." Sides of packaging show images of Mickey balloon flipping up and
over. The cellophane window has adhered to the balloon but balloon remains,
appearance wise, essentially the same as when it was issued. Bag has numerous
scattered edge tears, several cellophane splits, bottom center has 1" piece of
cellophane missing. Despite wear, still quite displayable and rare. Packaging
is VG, contents display nicely w/just some tiny scattered age spots on the
balloon.
