27x41" poster for the 1982 re-release of Steven Spielberg's 1981 action-adventure classic, the first film in the Indiana Jones series. Art by Richard Amsel showcases Harrison Ford cracking his trusty whip as Indiana Jones. The bkg. design incorporates Karen Allen as Marion Ravenwood, Paul Freeman as René Belloq and Ronald Lacey as the wicked Arnold Toht. The titular Ark of the Covenant appears behind Indy. Poster has been rolled and shows moderated scattered lt. handling wear w/some rippling. Fine/VF overall but would make for nice framed display.
