3x9x4.5" tall box contains complete and unused set by Globe-Union Inc., 1950s. Four side panels of box feature image of Mickey roller skating, top pictures the badge which is included w/set. Diecut handle has .5" tear w/clear tape repair, trace of wear, mostly along edges, underside has a few small and ft. moisture spots. Box remains clean and quite tight, fairly remarkable when you take into account the heavy roller skates it contains which could easily destroy the box. Fine. Each roller skate is 2.5x7x3.5" deep w/metal body and wheels, leather straps and flaps which cover the toes and feature Mickey portrait and name. Top of heels also have Mickey portrait sticker. Skates are unused and have never been assembled, come w/separate pair of string laces. Final item is 1.25x2.25" tin litho tab featuring "Mouseketeers" Mickey portrait logo plus title "Safety Skater Badge." Tab remains unbent. Set is essentially Mint as issued. Rare, especially complete and in this condition. First we've ever offered.
