Item Description
Same style as #1463, this is a slightly larger 4.25” tall version. Comes with 2.5”x5”x2.5” deep plain brown cardboard box which has been postmarked Chatham, NJ May 1963. Box has several postmarks and various stamps as there were mailing problems. As box was mailed several times, it has handling wear and light aging and is VG. Bust is Mint as issued with some very light crazing to glazed base as is usual and typical. This is the first boxed example of the classic Alfred E. Neuman bust we’ve ever offered.
