7x7x13" tall heavy glazed ceramic w/over-the-glaze paint. 1940s by Leeds China Co. Great two-in-one design depicting Donald on one side and Joe on the other. Incised text on underside reads "Donald Duck/Joe Carioca/Three Caballeros" along w/copyright. Inner rim edge of lid has some small ceramic flakes. As is typical w/these cookie jars, has scattered traces of paint wear but has more paint remaining than usually found, about 80%. The ceramic itself remains clean w/glossy appearance and no crazing. Still displays Fine to VF. Classic cookie jar.
