7x10x19" tall composition and wood doll w/felt hat and bow tie. Hat has chin strap and attached feather, bow tie was originally attached by a pair of staples but has come loose although could be reglued into place. Tie is darkened a bit w/age, hat has lt. dust soiling. On waist is 3/8x1.75" decal which has tiny touchup to the last "O" of his name and black border line at right but rest remains complete and original. Has professional restoration to head and over most of body as these composition dolls were very susceptible to paint peeling and cracking. Doll now has a bright and clean appearance, very impressive in this large size. Small scattered traces of wear to wood arms and legs but overall appearance remains Exc. Scarce.
