Item Description
7x9x4" deep metal © 1955 Adco Liberty Corp. Front panel scene is titled "At The Alamo" while back panel title is "Indian Fighter." Band features additional related western images as well as pair of portraits of Fess Parker as Davy. Top back edge has additional .5" dia. silvered metal accent disk w/Indian chief portrait. This is an exceptional example w/unused appearance. Interior remains totally clean. The latch and Indian head accent disk have just tiniest traces of surface oxidation. Tiniest traces of wear to the band including a 2.5" hairline scratch running vertically across one of the Fess Parker portraits, only noticeable when viewed closely. Red rims have just minute traces of wear only visible upon close inspection. The thin white piping accent on the rims has four streaks of bare metal on left, 1/8" to .25" long, additional minor trace of wear to this "piping" at underside four corners. All of this is noted for complete accuracy but box has bright and vibrant color w/extremely high gloss finish. Still an Exc. to N. Mint example of this rare and classic lunch box.
