Lot consists of 8.5x10.75" envelope holding 12 sheets, each w/different image of Annie. Complete text on envelope reads "Orphan Annie/In Florida/Harold Gray/Greetings From Florida/Glosstone Colorettes For Perfect Coloring And Painting/'Orphan Annie Visits Florida'/Made In U.S.A. Exclusive Playing Card Co., Chicago, Illinois/Distributed By Thrifty Novelty Co. Inc. Denver, Colo." Bottom of envelope has return address/address/postage area. Color illustration at top has Annie saying "Leapin' Lizards! I Sure Am Glad Daddy Warbucks Brought Us To Florida! Aren't You, Sandy?/Hark! Did You Hear The Singing Tower, Sandy?" Both sides of envelope are split and edges show wear but color remains bright and clean. The enclosed twelve 8x10" coloring pages have raised printing in three colors, four each of black, silver, gold. Each image shows Fla. scenes including Daddy Warbucks golfing, Annie and Sandy on the beach, Annie w/alligator, Annie and Sandy finding the Fountain of Youth, w/parrot, at Singing Tower, fishing. c. 1940s.
