2.25" has metal back and bar pin. Names "Holmes Airport, Inc. New York City" and designates "Official" permitting access to any part of field. 1929, real estate man and financier E.H. Holmes assembled 220 acres in Jackson Heights and sold stock in the enterprise. Apparently field changed names over years to Glenn H. Curtiss Airport, then North Beach, then enlarged and opened 12/2/39 as New York Municiple Airport - LaGuardia Field. See next item. Only one known. Exc. and displays Mint.
