2-1/8" for event in Brooklyn, although text is "New York City May 23, 1931." 15,000 people attended "Dedication Day Municipal Airport Floyd Bennett Field." Attendees included Mayor Jimmy Walker, Mrs. Floyd Bennett and Admiral Byrd who in 1925 was first to fly with Bennett over the North Pole. Has W&H backpaper. Rare single day historic issue. 1/8" dot of blue weave off ribbon stripe but all else Exc. and displays Mint. Second seen, only one with ribbon.
